Institut Kemahiran MARA Seberang Perai Utara

The history of the establishment of the MARA Seberang Perai Utara Skills Institute (IKM SPU) is based on the proposal for the construction of IKM with an agricultural concept and replaced with IKMSPU with an Electric concept.

IKM SPU is located in North of Seberang Perai with a land area of ​​68.4 acres and only uses 27.2 acres for development. This project was implemented by JKR through a consultant named by MoF and appointed Pulau Reka Sdn.bhd. as the main contractor.

The ground breaking ceremony was held on 05 March 2008 which was officiated by YB Senator Tan Seri Mohamed. Also present at the ceremony were (Director General of MARA), (Director of MARA Skills Division), Director of MARA Kedah and invited guests.

The date of handing over the building to MARA is on 08/07/2016
