What is Electrician?

Install, maintain and improve electrical cabling systems, equipment and installations. An electrician must also ensure that the work is in accordance with the relevant rules, and generally also have to be able to install or repair street lights, intercom systems, and electrical control systems.

Task

? Making laying plans and installation of electrical cabling or equipment, based on job specifications and local rules ? Connect cables to circuit breakers, circuit converters, or other components ? Test electrical systems or the continuity of circuits in electrical cabling systems, equipment, or installations, using test equipment, such as an ohmmeter, voltmeter, or oscilloscope, to ensure the system is safe and appropriate ? Using a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, electronic devices, and equipment for testing electrical systems, such as oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps ? Check electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or repairs, as well as to ensure that the electrical system is in accordance with applicable codes
