What is Wood Workers?

Build rough wood structures, such as concrete shapes, scaffolding, tunnels, bridges, or drains, billboards, and temporary shelters by following sketches, blueprints, or verbal instructions. Can also make, assemble, and repair structures and equipment made of wood, such as concrete forms; build a framework, including partitions, beams, studding, and casings; and wooden stairs, window and door frames, and hardwood floors; or wooden furniture.

Task

? Measure wood raw materials using a square, measuring tape, or ruler to make the initial sketch ? Study blueprints and diagrams to determine the dimensions of the structure or shape to be built ? Cutting or sawing boards, wood, or plywood according to the required size, using a hand saw, an electric saw, or other wood processing machine ? Mark the guide line cutting on wood material using a pencil or other marking device ? Assemble and tighten joint material to build a wooden frame or iron frame, using bolts, nails, or screws ? Record work progress reports and scheduling work crews ? Follow occupational health and safety rules and regulations to create a clean and safe work environment
