What is Investment Analyst?
An investment analyst conducts in-depth analysis and research on company performance and market conditions. This information is used by investment fund managers, traders and stock brokers to make decisions about investment. The information provided by the Investment Analyst is very useful in ensuring appropriate, accurate and managed investment opportunities. Investment analysts can work in an investment management company (Fund Management), a brokerage firm (Brokerage Firm) or bank (Investment Banking), where their research is needed by investment managers or clients who want to make their own investment decisions.
