What is Librarian?

A librarian is in charge of managing and carrying out all services related to the library. His duties include choosing, obtaining, making lists, classifying, distributing and maintaining library material. A librarian can work a type of library, such as a public library, or academic library. Duties may include selecting, acquiring, cataloging, classifying, circulating, and maintaining library materials; and provide reference, bibliography, and reader advisory services. Can conduct in-depth, strategic research, and synthesize, analyze, edit, and filter information. Can prepare or work with databases and information systems to catalog and access information.

Task

Anticipating the needs and trends that are rife in the community, to ensure that various library services are utilized to the maximum extent possible by the community ? Promoting libraries through displays, seminars, talk shows, seminars, etc Can be done inside or outside the library ?
