Task

? Providing educational services for students with intellectual disabilities, autism, traumatic brain injury, orthopedic disorders, or other conditions of disability ? Adjust instruction techniques according to the age and skill level of students ? Instruct students by using physical education adaptation techniques to improve physical fitness, gross motor skills, motor perception skills, or sports and game achievements ? Assist the selection or placement of students in physical adaptation education programs ? Record student records to document attendance, participation, or progress, and maintain the confidentiality of all these records

Knowledge

Education and Training

Knowledge of principles and methods in designing curriculum, training, teaching, and instruction for individuals and groups, as well as measuring the effects of training.

Psychology

Knowledge of human performance and behavior; differences in individual abilities, personalities and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.

English

Knowledge of the structure and content of English, including the meaning and spelling of each word, composition rules, and grammar.

Therapy and Counseling

Knowledge of principles, methods and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunction, as well as providing career guidance.
