What is Nuclear Engineering?
The Nuclear Engineering study program is a study program that studies the science of atomic nuclei using the principles of Nuclear Physics and the interaction between radiation and material as its basis. Learning subjects in this engineering field include designing, developing, experimenting, operating and maintaining systems and components of nuclear fission, such as nuclear reactors, nuclear power plants, and nuclear weapons. Nuclear techniques are also used in nuclear applications in medicine such as radiotherapy and radiodiagnosis. This study program has two specializations namely Nuclear Reactor Technology and Reactor Process Technology.
Why did you choose this programme?
Nuclear? Maybe what you imagine is a powerful nuclear missile explosion. Actually, nuclear is not always associated with weapons. Nuclear science itself is used for energy sources. To better understand in depth, you can choose this study program. If you really like science, you are fit to enter this study program.

Job Prospect for Nuclear Engineering
Reportedly the graduate of the Nuclear Engineering study program will have a fantastic income. Mining, petroleum, and energy companies that are in need of nuclear experts, such as, Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), MESSTECC, Malaysian Nuclear Agency and so on. In the field of medicine, as a researcher and instructor can also. But not many Nuclear Engineering graduates have been printed to meet the need for experts in the nuclear field.
