What is Geography?

Geography study programs studies the spatial use and placement of the earth's land and surface. Students who concentrate on physical geography, for example, will focus on studying and analyzing land surfaces, and studying topics such as climate, soil and water. Conducting cultural and human contexts, geography explores the relationship between humans and places. The geography study program is intended to provide students with the technology, including the mastery of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This field produces students who can solve problems, provide solutions to research, can utilize technology and have broad views. Geography majors are intended to provide students with the provision of understanding the application of regional perspectives in various regional developments, in this case including the mastery of Geographic Information System (GIS) technology. This results in students who can solve problems, provide solutions to research, can use technology and have a broad perspective. The geography department involves various courses in the discipline to expose students to broad and interesting aspects.

Why did you choose this programme?

This study program is suitable for students who like to observe something then conduct experiments related to the earth's surface, region, climate & weather. This department encourages students to find solutions to a problem through new discoveries. Thanks to the development of technology, geography science and technology are growing rapidly. New discoveries make people feel the importance of geography to get to know the earth where they live better.
