What is Clinical and Community Pharmacy?

If in the Pharmacy study program you learn various types and production of medicines, in the Clinic and Community Pharmacy study program you will also learn about medicines, but focus more on pharmaceutical service activities. So, here you will still get pharmacy lessons, coupled with knowledge about health care services related to drugs. Here you will understand more about Pharmaceutical Care, which is the ethics of pharmaceutical services, which regulates how medicines that have been produced and circulated can reach the right patient, in good condition, and by providing information and instructions for using drugs it becomes effective and fulfills the purpose of its use, namely healing or alleviating the disease.

Why did you choose this programme?

There is often news about drug abuse in the community. This can occur due to lack of supervision of the distribution of these drugs, and lack of pharmaceutical services in Malaysia. Pharmaceutical products with various categories are free to be sold on the market, and are free to be obtained by anyone without consulting experts / experts first. As a result, the public can consume drugs or supplements that are less appropriate in dosage with their needs. Surely this can have an adverse effect on health. Therefore, Malaysia needs experts in the field of Clinical and Community Pharmacy in order to improve the practice of Malaysian pharmacy services that are not perfect, so that there will be no more problems related to the use of pharmaceutical products in the future.
