What is Radiology Engineering (Radiodiagnostic Technique and Radiotherapy)?

Radiology is a medical science to scan and diagnose the inside of the human body using x-rays, either in the form of electromagnetic waves or mechanical waves. With the advancement of more modern medical technology, radiology not only uses x-rays, but is ultrasound such as ultranonography (USG) and magentic resonance imaging (MRI). The Radiology study program is available in vocational programs at several universities with Diploma 3 (D3) or Diploma 4 (D4) levels of education, as well as the education of specialists for those who have completed medical profession education. The knowledge learned is similar to that studied in the Medical Physics study program, but in vocational programs students will certainly get a greater portion of practice than theory, in contrast to the Medical Physics study program with a Tier 1 (S1) level.

Why did you choose this programme?

The need for radiographers is very high. The use of radiation devices will have a certain effect on the patient and the Radiographer itself, therefore, being a Radiographer means you have to be very careful and have zero mistakes.
