Politeknik METrO Betong Sarawak

The Betong Sarawak METRO Polytechnic began operations in November 2012 with a staff of 18 people. However, the temporary operation was at the Kuching Polytechnic Campus, Sarawak, Matang Road on February 19, 2013.

The Betong Sarawak METrO Polytechnic Operations was relocated to a permanent campus in Betong. The first recruitment of students will begin in June 2013. The programs offered are Diploma in Finance and Banking and Diploma in Tourism Management.

The Betong Sarawak METRO Polytechnic (PMBS) is an educational and training institution to meet local and regional socio-economic needs in specific areas, especially for the growing service sector needs, both at the national level. small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as well as multi-national companies.

The establishment of the Betong Sarawak METRO Polytechnic is in line with the country's transformation agenda of enhancing competitiveness through the development of high-income economies, especially in terms of generating a versatile and flexible human capital in a dynamic work market environment. The target of the students is the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) and working adults who require upskill and re-skilling. Learning at the Betong Sarawak Polytechnic METrO will prioritize the Online Virtual and Distance Learning (OVDL) method in the e-Learning framework. Most of his lecturers are industry-experienced.
