About Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia
UKM was established in 1970 as a pioneer in championing the use of the Malay language as the medium of instruction in higher education. It is one of the five designated Research Universities in Malaysia, known for its significant contributions to social sciences, medicine, and technology. The main campus in Bangi is characterized by its hilly terrain and "Valley of Knowledge" atmosphere.
