About MDIS Malaysia
MDIS started as SAMTAS, the Supervisory and Management Training Association of Singapore. It was formed in April 1956 and Dato’ Loke Wan Tho was SAMTAS’ first President.
In September 2013, Kolej MDIS Malaysia became the second overseas campus of the Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS). The ground breaking ceremony in September 2013 was officiated by YAB Tan Sri Dato Hj. Muhyiddin bin Hj. Mohd Yassin, the then Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education of Malaysia.
