About Kolej Komuniti Pasir Salak

Pasir Salak  Community College (KKPS), Ministry of Education Malaysia is an educational institution providing training and skills to all members of the community in need.

It also gives students or groups in a community the opportunity to gain the training and skills they are passionate about. This means that the KKPS provides skills development courses to the local community regardless of age limit to help them improve their quality of life.

The college began operating in April 2003, on a temporary campus at the Seri Iskandar Technical High School in Seri Iskandar, Perak.

At that time the college started with the strength of only three staff led by one principal and two lecturers. To date, KKPS has relocated to its permanent premises in Changkat Lada, Kampung Gajah, Perak and now has about 76 staff.

According to the statistics of students starting with 27 students and then increasing to 415. Today, many former graduates of the Sand Salak Community College (KKPS) have achieved their own success. Many of them have succeeded in finding career opportunities that fit their fields of study. For example, the students of the Pasir Salak Community College Information Technology (KKPS) students have obtained jobs in the private sector, working in computer stores and many who have been able to pursue higher education in polytechnics and universities.
