Kolej Komuniti Kota Marudu

Kota Marudu Community College (KKKMS) was officiated by the Honorable Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Maximus Johnity Ongkili on May 3, 2013 and commenced operations on January 1, 2014 on the premises of block B 1 and 2, Jaya Industrial Center, Kota Marudu, Sabah.

KKKMS building is a rental (shophouse) with an area of ​​2789.93MP² and 8 lots. At that time in addition to college administration, short course programs (PSH) were also conducted.

The first student intake was held in July 2015 and the program offered was the Certificate in Cooling and Air Conditioning (SPU) Certificate Program. Then a new program called the Building Maintenance Certificate Program (SPB) and its recruitment began in the July 2016 session.

KKKMS was established to meet the social and human needs in line with government policy to produce more skilled workers.

As for the local community, the college is responsible for exposing them to the short courses offered.

Community College graduates have the opportunity to fill industry needs in the areas of relevant skills or open their own businesses.
