Politeknik METro Kuala Lumpur

The METrO Polytechnic is an educational and training institution to meet local and regional socio-economic needs in a particular areaA, especially for the growing service sector, both at the small and medium scale ( SMEs) or multi-national companies.

The Kuala Lumpur METRO Polytechnic (PMKL) is the 28th polytechnic in Malaysia, and is the first METrO polytechnic under the Department of Polytechnic Education Starting with a temporary campus at the Polytechnic of Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, Shah Alam, the PMKL's eldest students began their December 2010 session with a total of 22 students. On July 1, 2011, PMKL relocated to a permanent campus in Setiawangsa, Kuala Lumpur. The campus also marked a milestone for the PMKL when the KPTM METrO Polytechnic Opening and Launching Ceremony was held on July 21, 2011.
