About Politeknik Kuala Terengganu
The Kuala Terengganu polytechnic, or concise PKT formally was established on January 1, 1999 under the concept of a campus in the city. The PKKT campus is located on the old Kuala Terengganu Land Office and District building which has been leased to the Ministry of Education Malaysia.
The first recruitment was 153 people in June 1999 for the Civil Engineering course only. Today, the number of students has increased to almost 1000 through the Diploma in Information Technology (Programming) and Electronic Diploma (network) courses
