Kolej Universiti Islam Pahang Sultan Ahmad Shah

The establishment of the Pahang Sultan Ahmad Shah Islamic College (KUIPSAS), formerly known as the Pahang Sultan Ahmad Shah Islamic College (KIPSAS), is the first turning point in the development and advancement of Islamic higher education in the state. Its history began on August 27, 1996 when the Pahang State Council approved its idea. To begin with, KUIPSAS meets the need for higher education channels for students of state religious secondary schools to further their education in higher education institutions. The first recruitment of 67 students was initiated following the decision from the Ministry of Education Malaysia.
