Politeknik Kuching Sarawak

Kuching Sarawak Polytechnic (SME) is the 5th polytechnic established under the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia. SMEs offer 13 diploma programs under the leadership of Tuan Haji Abdul Rahman Bin Khalid as Director.

The Polytechnic of Kuching Sarawak (SME) was established in 1987. Its establishment is in line with the objective of meeting the needs of trained labor resources in meeting the country's aspirations towards industrialization, thus increasing competitiveness in the world market.

The development was followed by the selection of a permanent campus by the Sarawak State Ministry of Industrial Development in collaboration with the Ministry of Education in Lot 88 Matang Land District as a permanent SME campus with 112 acres of land. The The campus located about 23 kilometers from the center of Kuching City and its location on Mount Serapi and adjacent to the Dome National Park provides an ideal and conducive environment for student learning and teaching and personal development.
