About Institut Latihan Perindustrian Marang
The Industrial Training Institute (ILP) Marang is one of the federal government projects under the Ministry of Human Resources (MOHR).
The concept of "design and build" and the completion period of the project is 33 months from the letter of contract offer received.
ILP Marang is the 28th ILP built and is the 32 Institute which operates under the Department of Manpower (JTM). The ILP Marang Project ground breaking ceremony was held on 25 August 2007 which was officiated by the MENTERI Besar of Terengganu, Dato ' Seri Idris bin Jusoh and was also attended by Dato ' Mokhtar bin Nong (Terengganu State Secretary), Dato Abdul Rahman bin Bakar (Deputy Minister of Human Resources) and Dato ' Hj. Mohd Shariff Bin Hussin (Deputy Secretary General (D) MOHR).
The key handover ceremony was held on 4 October 2010 between the Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR), which was represented by Y. BHG. Prof. Datuk Dr. Amer Hamzah bin Mohd Yunus and Dato ' Hj. Mohd Shariff Bin Hussin as a representative of the Ministry of Human Resources (MOHR).
