About Politeknik Mersing Johor
The Mersing Johor Polytechnic (PMJ) is among 8 new polytechnics built under the 9th Malaysia Plan. PMJ commenced operations on May 12, 2008. However, its administrative operations began on August 1, 2008 and is the 25th polytechnic established under the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia.
The establishment of the PMJ is in line with government policy to produce more quality semi-professional workers to meet the needs of the public and private sectors
