About Institut Latihan Perindustrian Sandakan

The Sandakan Industrial Training Institute (ILP), Sabah is one of the training institutions under the supervision of the Department of Human Resources, Ministry of Human Resources, Malaysia.

The institution was first built in November 2002 under the Eighth Malaysia Plan Project (8MP) and was fully completed in early 2005 with the Certificate of Completion (CPC) Certificate.

The main thrust of the Sandakan ILP is to provide formal skills training to graduates of Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM), industry sector workers and individuals to gain skills in specific areas offered through full-time and part-time training programs.

The institute comprises 27 blocks of buildings spanning nearly 50 acres in total comprising learning workshops, administrative offices, halls, boarding facilities, staff quarters, sports and recreational facilities. In addition, the Sandakan ILP hostel facilities can accommodate up to 400 boys and 200 girls at a time.

Syarat Kemasukan

Syarat kemasukan adalah terbuka kepada warganegara Malaysia, khususnya belia Sabah:

  • Warganegara Malaysia.
  • Berumur 17 tahun hingga 35 tahun.
  • Lulus SPM atau setaraf (Syarat minimum: Boleh membaca, menulis dan mengira).

Nota: Tidak perlu keputusan cemerlang, lulus SPM sudah memadai.
