Institut Latihan Perindustrian Kepala Batas

ILP Kepala Batas established under the Human Resources Department aims to provide formal technical training to industrial sector workers and school leavers to enable them to gain skills in certain areas.

The institute was completed in December 2004 with modern and modern equipment and technology facilities. The workshop can accommodate up to 600 students at a time that is modular and customized to meet industry needs. ILP Kepala Batas was completed by Tun Abdullah bin Haji Ahmad Badawi in 2004. The Headquarters Industrial Training Institute is located 6km from the capital city.

With 52 hectares, the Headquarters Industrial Latihan Institute commenced operations on the same date as the project key submission ceremony on April 13, 2004.

The institute offers 6 courses namely Computer Systems, Electricians, Instruments (Process Control), Industrial Electronics, Telecommunications and Refrigeration and Air Security. In addition, the learning curve for each course is constantly updated and equipped with technology and equipment that is in line with current industry needs.

The lecturers responsible for conducting these skills training programs are composed of from lecturers who are masters of diploma and trained Diploma in Engineering.
