About Kolej Komuniti Semporna
Semporna Community College (KKS) is the first branch community college in Sabah and its parent college is Tawau Community College. Commenced operations on June 01, 2009 by temporarily residing at Tawau Community College.
On July 16, 2009 Semporna Branch Community College moved to its permanent campus at Lot 2-6, Semporna 2 new township, Hospital Road, 91308, Semporna, Sabah.
From September 16, 2009 KKS is placed under the Administration of the Department of Community College, Ministry of Higher Education. KKCSS is located in Semporna parliamentary constituency P.189 and is located in Semporna Township, Sabah.
The distance of KKS from Tawau Airport is 84 km and 110 km from Tawau city. The Semporna Branch Community College offers the National Modular Certificate (SMK) Program in Tourism as well as the Lifelong Learning Program (Short Course) to Malaysian citizens especially to the people of Semporna district.
