About Institut Pendidikan Guru - Kampus Tawau
The Tawau Campus Teacher Education Institute (IPG) began construction on July 2, 2001 with a groundbreaking ceremony which was then completed by the then Education Minister, YB Dato 'Seri Mohd. Najib Bin Abdul Razak's 87-acre site at the same time makes Tawau Campus Teacher Education Institute the largest Teacher Education Institute in Malaysia.
Tawau IPG was completed in November 2004 at a cost of RM87 million. On December 27, 2004, about 170 KDPM and PISMP students from Sandakan College were transferred to the Tawau Teachers College following the Sandakan College.
On May 6, 2006, Tawau College was upgraded and the name of Tawau College was changed to Tawau Campus College of Education.

- Kewarganegaraan: Mestilah warganegara Malaysia.
- Umur: Tidak melebihi 20 tahun.
- Kesihatan: Sihat tubuh badan dan aktif dalam kegiatan kokurikulum.
