What is Taste Technologist?

Taste or Flavor technologists are tasked with researching, developing and producing a flavor that will be used in food and beverage products. They must ensure the taste developed and created in accordance with the product and market taste.

Task

? Experiment and produce samples, as well as design the process of making products with a consistent amount of taste, color and texture ? Modify the flavor concentrate from the existing product to get a consistent flavor profile from the results to the new product ? Conduct an internal sensory evaluation to find out the quality of taste, both new and existing ? Create a sense directory with data from various applications Choose the right flavor for a particular product

Chemistry

Knowledge of the composition, structure and chemical properties of substances and chemical processes and transformations that occur. Includes the use of chemicals and their interactions, alarms, production techniques and disposal methods

Knowledge of the techniques and equipment needed to plant, grow, and harvest food products (from plants and animals) for consumption, including the technique of storing them.
