What is Food Science Technician?

Food science technicians are people who are tasked with carrying out tests qualitative and quantitative that are standardized to determine the biological and chemical content of a food or beverage product.

Task

? Conduct standardized testing of food and beverage products ? Taste samples of food and beverage products to ensure that the taste is in accordance with the specifications requested ? Calculate the amount of content and percentage of the composition of a product using mathematical and chemical methods ? Analyze test results to classify substances contained in food and beverages

Knowledge

Engineering and Technology

Biology

Knowledge of plant and animal organisms, their tissues, cells, function, interdependence, and their interactions with the environment and each other.
