What is Interior Designer?

Plan, design and decorate residential, commercial or industrial interiors. An Interior Designer also makes a design that is practical, beautiful, and conducive, in accordance with the desired goals, such as increasing productivity, selling goods, or improving lifestyle. An Interior Designer can specialize in certain fields, styles, or phases in interior design work.

Task

? Confer with the client to determine the factors that influence the planning of the interior environment, such as budget, architectural preferences, goals and functions ? Advise clients about interior design factors, such as space planning, laying and use of furniture or equipment, and color coordination ? Coordinate with other experts involved in related projects, such as contractors, architects, engineers and pipe technicians to ensure the success of the project ? Review and detailed design drawings for construction planning ? Estimating material needs and costs, and presenting designs to clients for approval

Administration and Management

Knowledge of techniques, equipment and design principles including in producing precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models.
