Task

? Creating the appearance of a film, TV show, or theatrical performance as a whole ? Prepare a rough draft in the form of a sketch, to show what the set of designs will be, from the scene to the next scene ? Read film / TV / theater scripts to determine location, set and design requirements ? Develop a set design based on script evaluation, costs, research information, and available locations ? Exchange ideas with the entire team, from the director to the costume designer, so that the set that is built really fits the nuances of the story ? Making mockups, as a design benchmark ? Take part in exercises / rehearsals and production meetings, to get and share information related to the set ? Confer with clients and staff to obtain information about the space, time and money available, the theme promoted, as well as promotional needs A stage designer and set usually needs to study the script, negotiate with the director, and make research to determine the appropriate architectural style
