Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare estimates of time, costs, materials and workers ? Prepare various estimation documents used for vendor selection or sub-contractor processes ? Confer with technicians, architects, owners, contractors, or sub-contractors regarding changes and adjustments to estimate costs ? Prepare estimates needed by management, such as planning and scheduling estimates ? Assess the cost effectiveness of the product, project or service, and monitor costs in the field when the project is running ? Prepare estimates for consideration of vendor selection or subcontractors
