What is Aerospace Engineering and Operations Technicians?

Operate, install, calibrate, and maintain integrated computer/communications systems, consoles, simulators, and other data acquisition, test, and measurement instruments and equipment, which are used to launch, track, position, and evaluate air and space vehicles. May record and interpret test data.

Task

? Check, diagnose, maintain, and operate test settings and equipment for detecting malfunctions ? Track and interpret test data regarding components, assemblies and mechanics ? Confer with the technical officer regarding the details and implications of the testing procedures and results ? Adjust, repair or replace damaged components from testing equipment and equipment ?
