What is Environmental Researcher?

An environmental researcher is someone who is tasked with researching, designing, planning, or carrying out technical obligations to prevent, control, and repair environmental damage using a variety of engineering sciences. The work of environmental researcher also includes waste handling, site remediation, or pollution control technology.

Task

? Design or supervise the design of systems, processes, or equipment to control, regulate, or remediate water, air or soil quality ? Advise companies or government agencies to follow procedures to clean contaminated sites to protect the community and the environment ? Collaborate with environmental scientists, environmental planners, hazardous waste technicians, engineers, legal or business experts, or other experts to solve environmental problems ? Obtain, update or maintain a plan, permit, or standard operating procedure ? Become a liaison with the state or government officials regarding issues related to requirements for solid or hazardous waste programs
