What is Archeology?

Archeology is the study of historical approaches by examining primary sources such as material culture and environmental conditions from previous civilizations. Archeology can stand as its own department which is a splinter from the Department of History, it can also be one of the concentrations of Anthropology. Archeology will lead us to gain an understanding of history, especially ancient civilizations where people still do not recognize letters and numbers, so records of that period are still limited.
