What is Transportation Management?

Transportation Management study program studies the planning, operation, design and maintenance of transportation systems, both land, sea and air transportation. You will learn how to calculate vehicle operating costs, analyze tariff policies, analyze transportation routes that are most effective and efficient in the use of time and fuel and facilities. In addition, you will also learn to analyze problems in the current transportation system and find the best solution. This study program is a combination of management and engineering science, so that the study program is incorporated in different faculties in several universities. The graduate degree can later become a Bachelor of Logistics or a Bachelor of Economics

The transportation system in Malaysia is in dire need of improvement from various sides, both infrastructure, technology and management. Moreover, the lack of experts in the field of transportation management in Malaysia is one of the factors why the transportation system in Malaysia is still far behind other countries.
