What is Air Traffic?
Air Traffic (LLU) is one of the study programs available at flight schools under the auspices of the Ministry of Transportation. This study program is also known as the Air Traffic Expert (ALLU) for Diploma IV (D4), and Air Traffic Guide (PLLU) for Diploma III (D3). In this study program we are educated to become an Air Traffic Cotroller (ATC). Definitely know what ATC is? ATC or Air Traffic Guide is the person responsible for monitoring the movement of aircraft on land and in the air from ATC tower. An ATC will communicate with the pilot to give instructions and receive reports to carry out movements, since the aircraft is at the original airport until the destination airport. If you take the D3 PLLU study program, you will get the skills to guide aircraft movements that can be seen by the eyes of the ATC tower. But if you take the D4 ALLU study program, in addition to being able to guide the movement of aircraft from the tower, we will also be able to guide aircraft that are not visible through Approach Control (APP) with or without radar.
Why did you choose this programme?
If you are interested in the world of aviation and want to become an ATC, you can take LLU education. Especially if you are fluent in English, this could be the right choice for those of you who want to explore the world of aviation. Because in practice, communication on aviation has its own language standard called Aviation Phraseology which certainly uses English. The work of an ATC is exciting, because the responsibility is too large, which involves the safety of hundreds of passengers on the plane, and must be zero mistake. So, if you want to become ATC you also have to prepare mentally and physically strong.
