What is Landscape Architecture?

Similar to Architecture, the Landscape Architecture study program also learns about planning, construction design, but in an outdoor scope with a larger scale. A Landscape Architect is required to be able to utilize and manage large open lands into functional areas by paying attention to aesthetic and ecological aspects. Landscape Architecture is the development of the architecture of the Garden, so Landscape Architecture is closely related to the design of parks. In contrast to the science of Architecture, the main design elements in Landscape Architecture are plants. Forms of work from Landscape Architecture such as city parks, amusement parks, nature reserves, sports fields, to housing complexes.
