What is Legal Studies?
In the Law study program, students learn everything about the law, both practice and theory. The law regulates how humans act and behave so as not to harm others. Learning about the law is more about the concepts and theories, as well as some legal cases that occur. However, at the end of the college period students usually get a chance to practice in various law firms, prosecutors, or courts, so the relevance of the theory that has been studied so far can be understood.
Why did you choose this programme?
If you have a concern for the law in Malaysia, then the Law Studies program can be the right choice. Indeed, the legal situation in Malaysia is far from ideal. Deviations and violations of the law are still common. Although there are many law graduates, the practice of law is basically still weak.
