What is Insurance Claim Investigator?

An Adjuster, Examiner, and Insurance Investigator works for an insurance company, and is responsible for examining damage to property, to determine how much the insurance company must replace the damage or redeem the claim. "Ownership" can be in the form of a house, vehicle, business, or whatever. An Insurance Adviser, Examiner, and Investigator also tries to find a settlement with the claimant. He also calculates claim payments, and approves claim payments within certain financial limits.

Task

? Check claim forms or other records to determine insurance coverage ? Investigate and assess damage to property, and make or review estimated property damage ? Interview or ask the claimants, witnesses, police, doctors, and various other relevant and relevant parties, to better understand their claims, then determine the determination of claims, denial or review ? Review police reports, medical treatment records, medical bills, or physical property damage to determine the range of payment obligations ? Negotiate claim determination, and propose to proceed with the court process when the determination is not negotiable ? Work in the field, visit damaged property, and examine background information on the damage
