What is Radio Music Director?
The main task of a music director on a radio station is to find the right music for the radio.?In addition, the music director on the radio station is responsible for interacting with the representative of the record label, selecting new music, and deciding what songs can be played on the radio (this is sometimes done with the program director), when, and how often. Music directors can work as well as broadcasters, or program directors. Music directors also sometimes work to assist radio promotion or sales staff.
