Employee selectors are responsible for assisting companies in finding candidates, filtering, interviewing, and helping HRD managers in the selection process to fill positions needed in the company.

Task

? Establish recruitment requirements by studying company plans and objectives; have a meeting with the manager to discuss needs ? Build a database of applicants by researching and contacting universities, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; provide information about the company, opportunities, and benefits ? Determine applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and job qualifications ? Attract applicants by conducting job advertisements using newsgroups and job sites ? Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyze responses; verify references; compare qualifications with work requirements ? Organize interviews by coordinating schedules such as arranging trips, lodging, and meals; escort applicants for interviews ? Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and qualifications of applicants with managers ? Increase the attractiveness of the company by recommending new policies and practices in recruitment, monitoring job offers and compensation practices, and emphasizing the benefits and benefits of certain jobs ? Manage and foster an internship program by conducting orientation, scheduling rotations and assignments, monitoring the contribution of work internships, and providing input to managers regarding training and coaching for apprenticeship programs

Knowledge

Communication and Media
