What is Formal Event Planner?

Coordinate all aspects of convention and event activities and ensure everything is going well. The responsibility is to choose the location of the meeting, arrange transportation, and coordinate other details so that the event can be carried out well and satisfy the client.

Task

? Coordinate the activities of staff, convention personnel, or clients to make arrangements during group meetings, events or conventions ? Monitor events to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, participant satisfaction, and resolution of any problems that arise ? Counsel with staff on the event site selected to coordinate the details ? Check event facilities to ensure that the event meets customer needs ? Coordinate services for events, such as accommodation and transportation of participants, facilities, catering, signing, display, special needs requirements, printing and event security ? Consult customers to determine goals and requirements for events such as meetings, conferences and conventions

Administrative

Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems, such as managing words, managing documents and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.

Customer and Personal Services

Knowledge of principles and processes to provide services for customers and personal. This includes assessing customer needs, meeting service quality standards, and evaluating customer satisfaction.

Administration and Management

Knowledge of business and management principles including strategic planning, resource allocation, human resource modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination between people and resources.

English

Knowledge of the structure and content of English, including the meaning and spelling of each word, composition rules, and grammar.

Sales and Marketing

Knowledge of the principles and methods to show, promote, and sell products or services. Includes marketing strategies and tactics, product demonstrations, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
